Dinner and Good Cheer

BTW, I interpret the Challenge to mean, Taken inside a home, not necessarily your own.
In any case I liked this shot taken at an art collector's house yesterday and it is a Still Life.

It really was business...sort of....not loved ones at all. Friends would be a nice way to put it, nice people, smart people, who like me and I like them, a gathering of talent....but they are not family. Etc....lol....but a good and grand time was had by all.

PS I played with skewing a little also, but decided best to leave alone.

Nice atmosphere in this Trav! I thought about correcting for perspective and perhaps cropping a bit, so I played with it. I got a more "correct" image out of it, but concluded that it was actually better left as it is here... Did you have a good time with loved ones?

That's a way a holiday table should look, festive and ready for a crowd of friends. -Michael

And I was really impressed with the art on the walls and the live greenery in the background. With the lighted candles, it feels as if everyone is standing in a hush behind the photographer, just poised to step into the scene!

It's a still life shot in my mind. Before you started to explain that it wasn't your home I was quite impressed with your dinner table for 16 layout Traveller. Even if it isn't yours it's still quite an impressive setup. I keep wanting to reach for one of those rolls. Paul

It would be inconsistent with your moniker to do anything at your home. So keep traveling and shooting. Indoors is good enough I think.
