I appreciate the twists you have given the shot, K, and am not concerned at all about the liberties you have taken. Indeed, I look on it as a lesson in what post processing can accomplish. Thanks for the support.

Charlie,

do you mean something like this:

Charlie, I hope you don't mind that I have allowed myself to "play" with your picture. Just for fun.
I also have been so often in the situation that "one second before ... " and that would / could be the picture of life ... but ...
Again, please excuse me that I have taken liberties - I just love your picture, at the moment, it is one of my favorites for voting.

It certainly looks better your way. And if the lady had chosen an earlier moment to try and cross the street, she would have done me a favor. But I have neither the tools nor the skills to execute that type of photo editing. You did a nice job with it. Many thanks. Charlie

What do you think about this "Way"http://www.pbase.com/image/128798367 ?

(Just for fun :-) )

Well done, Charlie! You really did get a story with this shot. I like that the tones match so well and the composition really works! ~Sharon

Thanks, everyone. I waited across the street from this wall and one other, discretely taking photos as people passed by. This one wound up telling the best story.

Impressive mural nicely rendered. The passing older folks seem indifferent from habit while visually overwhelmed. -tv
