The opposing sweeps of the clouds and dry grassland form a dramatic background, while the lone figure and her shadow give an air of solitude and peace. Add to this the perfect saturation of the complimentary colours and we have a great study in opposites and a magnificent image. Excellent. -Najinsky

I'd have to agree with Nico on the Distinction between the color and the B&W...I love what a really wide angle lens can do. Traveller

Excellent work with your wide-angle. The bw version does make the sky more dramatic. However, seeing that this is about "dry", I would also say that the coloured version is my fav, seeing that it seems to communicate that message more strongly to me. Well done!

Many thanks, Michael and Bob. Bob, this is not the tidal area, actually the level of water as seen on the picture is the highest that occurs. I should visit this place sometime during the summer

Nice capture alexeig, great colours and composition.

Interesting grass area, is that tidal or receding flood waters?

A beautiful scene, well captured and enhanced by the walking figure. Well done. Regards, Michael
