Time on our hands

We took the train to Saltburn today, on the outward journey the train passes through Darlington station pictured above. On the return journey it does the same, or so I thought. In fact it stops at Darlington and returns to Saltburn. Of we all jumped in a hurry to catch the exchange which we didn't know about, the exchange train headed out of the station without us, but not all was lost, half an hour later and another turned up. Just enough time for a Juxtaposition shot of the station clocks.

I'm not usually a fan of selective colouring, but you've got this just right...lovely reds and greens and creams in the old clock. Terrific composition too - love those iron columns marching down the platform...great shot, Kevin!
