13 A million stories

Melbourne, Australia

Millions of stories and memories.
A stream of immigrants arrived in the last century, in Victoria Dock, Melbourne.
Now the Victoria Docks are part of a big redevelopment plan.
I remember clearly that day, 18 december 1972, when I embarked the SS Britanis
in order to leave Australia.

I have two memories of Victoria Pier...both sad goodbyes...holding onto the streamers until they broke away :))
