14 The colour of scorched earth

Melbourne, Australia view map

The monochrome colour of the scorched earth near Tarra-Bulga National Park in Gippsland.
What once was a beautiful forest is now a bare area with tree stumps.
It is nearly 1 year ago that Victoria suffered from devastating bush fires.
I took this picture in the beginning of this month

Impressive shot of the devastating effects of the fires. Looks like it's taking a while for Mother Nature to recover. It also looks like you need rain.
