18 Chinese Cooking wine

Melbourne, Australia

Chinese cooking wine is a basic ingredient for sauces and marinades.
It is common to Chinese cooking but it is also excellent for other cuisines.

Chinese cooking wine is made from alcohol, water and salt.

I use it when I fry my tofu.

From reading the label I can see why this might have appeal in some circles.

I go out to get good Chinese food....cooking for one is not much fun! Love this and must give it a try if I ever cook. May even invite a few folks over, then it would be worth it. Love the line up!

Also works well for marinades. Nice one for the challenge.

I use usually rice vinegar when I cook Chinese, and save the cooking wine for special occasions. I'm not sue about the alternative use for this though :o). Nicely shot

Great subtitle - little spellcheck might help.

Never thought of Chinese wine, but I don't see why not, so long as its alcoholic, anything will do.
Nice shot.
