4 Substation

Melbourne, Australia

This is the façade of a substation was built in 1915 and was an AC/CD station for the train system in Melbourne West.
"AC/DC" is an abbreviation for "alternating current/direct current".
The substation is now used as a community art service centre.

Architecture that is only functional yet they have attempted to make it ornate too. The architecture on Our pump houses in England seem to look like this too.

Nice old building. Some of the architectural details look like one of our old buildings. Nice image and grat reflection of the sky as well as the interesting cat figurines in the far right window!
