In one of the labyrinthine streets near the harbor is the tiny shop of Mercourios Dimopoulos, a master icon maker who works in the old tradition.
I bought a wonderful St. Michael from him in 1990, and have treasured it ever since.
Visiting his shop once again to see his beautiful work was the highlight of being in Mykonos on this trip, 17 years later !
