This man was seated on the porch of a small Kanchipuram temple. He invited us inside to see the interior of this holy place.
I had thought he was a monk, but I was recently told by someone from India, that he is not a monk , but rather just a man belongning tot the Brahmin community.
These people work in temples and its customary to be dressed as seen here.
