My husband and I were on our way to the eastern coast of Peninsula Malaysia, cutting through the northern part of the country that was relatively remote when we came to this spot just right of the highway. These were some of the oldest rainforest mountains in the world. It felt like time had stood still. It was pure. And timeless.
