Adrift at covehithe!

One of my favourite images taken last Summer in Cove Hithe Suffolk, the beach has many beautiful pieces of driftwood, from whole huge trees coming out the sand and sea to small logs.
Believe it or not this is only 2 foot high, but I laid flat on the sand and shot up.
I love the detail brought out by the changing the image in Photoshop to mono in channels.

I keep coming back to this photo. It's mesmerizing, and I was surprised that it's 2 feet tall. It seems massive.
