First launch of the Boeing Delta IV from Vandenberg AFB

We drove up to Cuesta Ridge overlooking San Luis Obispo to view this launch.

We were now just 50 miles away from the AFB, instead of the 200 miles in the bayarea.

The second picture is nice as the setting sun lit up the contrail.

Great series to show the progression of the launch. I'm kind of fond of the last shot where the contrail is starting to break up.
