The High Peaks

Of Pinnacles National Monument.

This is the remains of an ancient volcano originally located 195 miles away in Southern California.
The rocks were part of the Neenach Volcano that occurred 23 million years ago.
The San Andreas fault carried this half of the volcano into Central California.

The Pinnacles National Monument is also home to endangered California Condor, which are monitored
daily.

There are so many faces and statues in those rock formations and they all look like they're watching you guys hike toward them. This is a terrific scene, Bryan! \/
