I'm not really sure why the Botanical Gardens hatches these butterflies.

They are kept in a glass box (smeared with dirt and water drips & spots) with unhatched Chrysalis of other butterflies and moths.
The Clearwings are never released nor given flowers nor greenery to feed upon...

It's kind of sad. They are also next to impossible to photograph through the dirty glass.
