There's a lot of the Coyote Buttes in this image: the teepees in the foreground, the rich striated sandstone in the background, and of course the beautiful red of the Navajo Sandstone over everything... In this telephoto image, all of these componants are brought together nicely.

It was at this time that I remembered I had forgotten my sunglasses in the car...big mistake. On a clear, warm day in the desert, you don't want to make such a stupid error. I paid for it later in the day...
