6:44 AM: Sunrise, North Coyote Buttes

This image was taken moments after the previous shot, but looking the opposite direction - toward the south. The route to the Wave takes you just to the left of the two teepees on the upper right hand edge of the image, over some wonderfully sculpted slickrock. I used a polarizer in this image with my 12-24mm Tokina lens, and like the variation in the sky caused by this combination. When there are no clouds in a particular scene, and the sky is uninteresting, I don't mind having an enhanced variation in the density of the sky due to the polarizing with very wide lenses...
