Sunset on the River

Mississippi River

The sunsets have been spectacular for the past 10 days or so and I never seem to get tired of them. I hope you don't. Those are dragon files flying around, there were hundreds of them.

I think few people get tired of sunsets and I am certainly not one of them. I like the foreground foliage with the sun peaking through it. I'd like to see hundreds of dragonflies too, but here I think mosquito control as made them all go somewhere else. A very interesting shot.

I won't get tired of them as long as they're as pretty as this one. And it's about the only way I see the sun come up. :)

Nice shot, I missed the sunset today too, so I'm glad to see yours.

This is magnificent, Breland. I like the touch of blue in the River, too. Sorry I missed this one; I didn't even see the sunset in Metairie.

The consensus seems to be they are helocopters and I agree. Keep the sunsets coming.

Nice shot, Breland. I can see the profile of a dragon fly. I have not seen more than a handful around here all summer.

Nice one, Bre. Love how you incorporated some foreground elements here. The dragonflies look like helicopters off in the distance!

Love them so as many as you want is fine with me. Are those dragonflies or choppers :>)

I agree with you Breland, the sunrise and sunsets have been great. I like the way you framed this shot.
