Overlooking the magnificent Heroes' Square is the Exhibition Palace (Mucsarnok), also known as the Mucsarnak Art Hall, a museum of contemporary art.
The building itself is historically significant; it was designed by architect Albert Schickdanz and built in 1896 in a visually appealing neoclassical architectural style.
The facade is outstanding, the frescoes are beautiful, and the columns add a touch of class. This stylish building is simply a great building to look at and visit;
it's one of the best art museums in Budapest.
