Located in Kanangra Boyd National Park, 100km west of Sydney. A rugged wilderness area, the park covers 68,000 hectares and is a maze of high plateaus, rainforested gorges, wild rivers and open spaces. Taken looking north east towards Mt Cloudmaker from the trail to Kanangra falls. The valley in front of us is around 500 meters deep and is only accesible by abseiling the waterfalls into it. Our plan was to do just that, but high water saw us retreat to a smaller watercourse to the south. Images from the trip are at http://www.pbase.com/bookster/dione_dell
