3rd - Pétale

Sorry, I used a similar shot in the December Challenge, but I couldn't resist this again :o)

It's funny, when I read 'pétale' I immediately thought of the iris diaphragm of a lens rather than a flower...must be a boys and toys thing LOL!!

Oui, c'est vrai que l'ouverture du diaphragme de l'objectif s'appelle l'iris mais c'est tout personnel, ensuite, d'appeler ses composants des pétales ! Mais je trouve ça très drôle et pas du tout masculin mais plutôt féminin ;-)))
