Well, it's the week before Christmas again (wasn't it Christmas just a couple of months ago?) and the shops are quite literally beating a path to my wallet and relieving me of my credit cards...I'm cooking Christmas dinner for five this year, so I'd better start getting all the necessaries in and put in a bit of practise...beans on toast with all the trimmings washed down with a few cans of Tesco's 12-for-the-price-of-two Basic Lager should do it*. Luckily, I've had the Brussel sprouts boiling rapidly since the October half-term so they should just about be ready come next Friday :o)
