(from the 1971 album Meddle)
"And I rise, like a bird,
In the haze, when the first rays
Touch the sky"
Seems birds, Pink Floyd and me are getting it on this month! I was driving through the darkening Warwickshire countryside when I spotted the break in the clouds. I framed up with "Breathe" in mind, but just as I was taking the pic, the crows which had been grazing invisibly on the other side of the dip flew up into the middle distance, creating this beautiful dissolving swirlingness across the sky. Having chimped the result the lyrics above came into my head and I knew immediately that this was a perfect showcase for "A Pillow of Winds"
