#6 - "Chi" - Tonight my heart broke as a cat ran directly in front of my car
with no chance of my braking in time to avoid it. I heard the thump-thump-thump
of impact as a grief-stricken harmony to my cry of NOOOOOOOO as I slammed on my brakes.
I came home and shot this photo of my hand to represent the life force or "chi" which
unites us all in honor of a small, but no less important, life lost tonight.

I know better how you feel. Just the other night I hit a deer. I'm hoping it was a glancing blow as it quickly ran into the woods. Can't help but wonder though.

This is wonderful. Not sure how you did this shot, but it's very well done. Perfect representation, too.

How very sad. It was an accident but no less traumatic when it happens to you. If only pet owners would be more responsible. Interesting photo interpretation...

Beautiful tribute to the lost cat! Creative grief process.
Phillip Normanton06-Jan-2010 23:56
:o((( I've only ever run over a bird - but I know the sickening feeling - must be ten times worse for a cat :o(
But this is a fabulous image, the processing is perfect!!
