4 year-old German Shepherd Miko, a Tucson police dog, died in the line of duty in late spring 2006 while pursuing a carjacker. An off-leash dog park in Reid Park is dedicated to his memory. While visiting the park during the annual Animal Fair, I saw this photo of Miko that someone had posted on a bulletin board.
