While looking at a very old, rusted-out car I noticed its tires. Most of the rubber covering was gone but all these cotton fibers were exposed. It looked like a mop top. I think it's a Goodyear tire. The community of Goodyear, AZ was founded in the early 1900's by Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for the growing of Egyptian cotton to be used in tires. Could it be one of their early tires?
