Built in 1904 in the Classical Revival style and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.
The architects were Trost and Rust.

Interesting note: Lady Justice stands atop the building's beautiful dome. Unlike other Lady Justices who wear a blindfold to signify justice applied equally for all, Santa Cruz Courthouse's Lady Justice does not wear a blindfold.
