2005 All Souls Procession

4th Avenue

This annual Tucson event, drawing from many Dia de los Mujertos (Day of the Dead) traditions, is open to everyone.
It is an event to honor and mourn for those who have passed on and to welcome the new.
Starting at dusk, this year's procession was a spectacular sight highlighted by the Wilheim Look giant puppet heads built at the Tucson Puppet Works.

Hi Micheal,
I always wondered who was behind that stunning mask! It's one of my favorite pictures of the Procession.
You probably have many personal photos but if you would like a copy of this one, I'd ge happy to make a print for you.
Thanks to all your family for helping make such a great event.

Dear Peg,

I just want to indicate that this image is of my Wife, Lidia Teran Cooper. She volunteers as a puppet mask maker/tutor and created this particular costume, as well as several other unique styles. In fact, our entire family participates in other ways, during this wonderful event! Thank you for portraying Lidia. She will appreciate your creative ability.
