The Wynn Resort and Casino is being built on the site of the famous Desert Inn that was demolished in 2001. The Desert Inn was owned by Howard Hughes and where he lived out his last years.
Steve Wynn built the Mirage, Treasure Island, and the Bellagio.
The budget for this resort is $2.6 billion.
