When the El Conquistador was demolished in 1968, they saved the Porte Cochere and placed it at the entrance to the Sin Vacas gated community.

I am glad to see this photo. I am reading Sarah Allaback's book on America's First Women Architects, and was eager to see what is considered Anne Graham Rockfellow's masterpiece. Thank you for posting the fantastic photo of what remains. It must have been a splendid building!
