Jackson Pollock

East Lothian

Pollock is supposedly the initiator of the "Abstract Expressionism" movement in art with his famous canvases with paint dripped and poured upon them.

I think, however, that Mother Nature perfected abstract images before him, as exemplified by this random picture through a hedge backlit against the blue sky.

As for being "art" or "artistic" I believe there are better examples of skill and imagery presented in contributors' PADs than on the walls of any museum of modern art...........

I like this, but it isn't an abstract. It is obviously a tree with red berries. Those who think this is abstract need to find out what abstract means. Those of you who think Jackson Pollock was an artist need a life. If Jackson Pollock was an artist, I am a brain surgeon.
