The Unseen

I was sitting opposite in a restaurant for over an hour in Istanbul, and not a single person acknowledged this lady's existence.

It's not a problem unique to Istanbul, but rather to any big city where people become faceless and the plight of others become invisible.

Your strongest image in this gallery. It goes beyond description to express such human values as islolation, indiffernce, and insensitivity. The world rushes by this woman, and nobody loses a step or takes a moment to even notice this woman. (You would have been able to intensify the meaning by turning the camera horizontally to extend the feeling of right to left movement. A vertical format confines the movement. )

What a neat way to show movement vs stability.
