My favorite bird shooting place is Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve. It is particularly exciting when you get an opportunity to capture a new bird for your collection. At sunset today, this immature Reddish Egret flew within range. This was one of those situations when a f2.8 lens would have come in handy.
