Very strong street image Antonis. His visage shows all the hard time he passed through. A perfect portrait and the B&W gives more intensity to the image. And thank you for your comment for my picture "Christ the King", I really appreciate it.
Best regards
Guy

A truly great shot, as many people have already pointed out.

I'm just wondering... could you have lowered the camera a bit to get on the same level with him? Shooting someone from above makes them look smaller (in every sense).

But then, the shot works great as it is, and having seen some of your other work, I'm pretty sure you knew what you were doing.

Keep it coming. :)

Good Lord, everyone in the Pbase world (the ones I love) has sent me this link!

Amazing image, Antonis. Very humbling.

Antonis, this is a very powerful shot on many levels to me. It should be seen as a reminder that there is much pain in the world and to help those no longer able to help themselves.

Can someone see you helping a invisible man? The answer: YES. And maybe one day that observer will help someone.

Thank you for posting this image and thanks for stopping by my PaD.

This is a sad shot...dignity reduced and his face wears marks of a hard life. Such a humbled pose. Amazing the character lines on his face... I'll bet he has quite a story to tell.
