For some reason, when taking a picture of the DX full length but keeping the displaying image to
800x600 pixels or less, the text's solid black quality isn't shown, at least not with my little
Canon A710.  Hard to capture.  But at least it shows how much darker the Kindle DX is
than even a good Kindle 2.  It's also darker than the Kindle 1 font.

  The Kindle 2 text is blotchy here maybe because the camera was close and I could
focus only in the middle but favoring the DX.  I used distortion correction for the closeup.
  Still, the blotchiness is likely more due to the somewhat thinner K2 font
not showing up as well as the thicker DX font in a small picture.
