A Close One

Before the last race of the RC44 Regatta the boats jockeyed for positions.
The Team Aqua Boat from the U.K. looked like it was going to hit the Broadway Pier from our vantage point.
The Sailors on these boats are so experienced that they can execute very sharp turns at high rates of speed.
It was fascinating to watch the RC 44 Regatta. Here is my gallery if you want to see more:

We used to do this coming in from the lake after a race and folks would jump back from the pier. It was fun to watch their reaction :-)
