Very nice blue toned and layerd image.
Jeff Lobaugh15-Jan-2010 21:52
I see no foolish tourists here! Hope there's still some of this wave action on Sunday!
Guest 15-Jan-2010 19:59
The bird in the spray from the wave really caught my eye
Carol Rollins15-Jan-2010 14:20
This is very dramatic and full of power! Wonderful work Walter. ~
Bernard Davis15-Jan-2010 10:39
Looks like its going to be rough, but the wall feels strong enough to stand it. There's a gull following the wave as well, that was actually the first thing I saw.
Sheila15-Jan-2010 10:25
A fabulous capture of those waves. I like the pov with the wall at the front and the cool blue tones.
borisalex15-Jan-2010 09:42
This is so cool in tones!
claude15-Jan-2010 09:41
powerful image with the breakwater waiting for the assault of the waves !
Doug Cruden15-Jan-2010 06:29
A lovely blue tone, Walter - the contrast between the curve of the breakwater and the strong lines of the waves is a nice touch...fantastic catch of the spindrift!
Cindi Smith15-Jan-2010 03:57
Love the waves.....I'd be standing there getting sopping wet! Beautiful strength caught in this image.
Guest 15-Jan-2010 03:53
The blue tones work perfectly here... love the catch of that wave in motion!
Frank Brault15-Jan-2010 02:40
I like the POV with the curving wall (breakwater?). You captured the surf well. When I had my Nikons the 18-200 was my favorite lens. It was on my camera almost all the time.
Sam X15-Jan-2010 02:07
very romantic spot ... great shot
Marcia Colelli15-Jan-2010 01:40
Very nice capture of all the waves, nice composition and tones V

Wonderful image, Walter. Love spay on the curls of the wave. Kinda looks like the storm is already there. Well done.
Bill Warren15-Jan-2010 01:25
The bluish mono intensifies the wave energy. V
pkocinski15-Jan-2010 00:43
Angry water. How come no one is on the breakwall?
carol j. phipps15-Jan-2010 00:23

The only problem with living in the middle of China, is we are about as far away from the ocean as we can get... This is a cool image full of possibility and romance..
Guest 14-Jan-2010 23:32
I like the blue tones.
J. Scott Coile14-Jan-2010 23:22
This adds a real chill to what I'm sure is relatively warm... Love it.
Stephanie14-Jan-2010 23:18
