Object to be Destroyed

I "made" this ca. 1987 after seeing one at a Man Ray Exhibition in Washington, DC.
I admit I only saw a copy of it as the original was shot by a Nihilist in 1957 and Man Ray had to create more Objects.
It has a variety of possible "meanings" according to Ray as you can learn by reading the attached link.
I just like it and it has been sitting on my desk for years, plus I like to show off that with my natural rhythm I don't need a metronome to keep time when playing guitar.

Excellent! And you are so multi-talented, playing the guitar too!

It takes a creative eye to see all the possibilites here....a thoughtful image.

Very interesting and creative although I must admit I find the eye just a bit creepy!

Somehow strange with that intensive one eye look. Perfect object for the challenge.

I had the same one as a kid when learning to play the piano. I wonder if Mom still has it...but like Steph, mine doesn't come with an eyeball! hehe...great shot and love the idea.

Excellent!

I have TWO eyeballs, minus the metronome. :) Classy triangles.

You have to keep an eye on this modern art :o)

Cool! I think I'd be uncomfortable with the EYE watching me at my desk... :)
