Udon is a type of thick wheat-flour noodle popular in Japanese cuisine. It can be made with a variety of broths and toppings.

The Udon in this image was my breakfast this morning. It was made with the following ingredients: udon noodles, chicken broth, shrimp, hard boiled egg, cut green onion and my home made chili (see letter H).

Hot soup for breakfast is a great way to start the day.
