Bit of a frustrating day really. It was a lovely sunny day with a few light fluffy clouds when we set off for today's Sunday league footie match. This I didn't mind as it's just a few miles south of Rutland Water. The plan was to stop off there for a lunch of chips 'n' cheese (no more cooking at home for a while till the smell goes away) and to take a few IR snaps.
Well we lost 2-1, should have won easily. The weather changed into being very dull and windy and even rain as we headded back. We didn't make the detour. And by the time we arrived home the weather had changed into another gorgeous day again! Typical!
You can't win 'em all, seems we lost out on the pitch and to the weather today. However as we were unloading all the dirty kit and camera gear this feather was blown into the front door and landed on the mat... I looked up and said thanks for that, this will be my PotD!
BTW If anyone has seen "East is East" you will understand an alternative meaning to todays title!
