I have keeped a peacock flounder 1 but am geting one in a couple of weeks wellthe first thing you have to do is get freezen silersides which they sould have at your salt water fish store get a rod tip and stick a head or if it is a rely small silerside the whole thing stick it in your tank on the stick and this is the most important part to make sure he is on the sand and wigel it in front of his face and he will prounks on it

We just bought one of these, from what I understand they will eat brine shrimp krill, and frozen silversides, they also like live ghostshrimp which you can get at most pet stores.

We have just received a peacock flounder by mistake...It was classed as a bottom feeder to remove algae and other things in our tank....I spent the better part of yesterday trying to figure out what it was on the internet and stumbled on it through a link that had a miscellanous fish section...I realized what we had was somewhat rare and that it requires live fish to eat...all we have are frozen brine shrimp and it has only eaten two of those...our other problem is our tank is only 29 gallons it is about 3 inches long and we have hermit crabs and a candy striped shrimp and pajama cardinalfish....our dilemma is we don't want to give it back to the store, they will just sell it over again without any knowledge of what it is...does anyone have any comments on what we need to feed it to keep it from eating our crab, shrimp and fish and if we have to get rid of it shortly where would you suggest we take it?
