We left Durban on New Years Eve 1974 to round the Cape of Good Hope and go on to Cape Town. As we left, we were very sad because it was here in Durban that we would leave Roger and Sheila behind forever. We wondered when we would again see the two of them who we had sailed with for the past two and a half years.
