Good grief, is it possible that I've finally taken a decent candid??
What's also of interest is the way my (relatively cheap) 28-135 IS mated with my trusty old 300D frequently seems to outperform my 40D and its (horrendously expensive) L series glass. Yes, I know that the image isn't razor sharp; but for a hand held shot in overcast conditions at long range...
