Official sunrise is still half an hour away, but the sun is already making its presence felt in the glow to the left of the image. Not that you'd know it if you were standing at the top of Mt Ainslie at quarter past 6 on a May morning.
(Hint: Don't try it without some serious clothing and gloves.)
