I'm not sure that this idea is going to fly, at least not in its current form. The intention in shooting this was to find a spot which has a diversity of people and action, and come back to it periodically, shooting from the same location with the same frame, to see how it changes over time. The problem is that I had a difficult time juggling width (I used the 10-22 wide angle for this, because obviously I wanted to get as much action in the frame as possible), depth of field and speed. At f/8, even after pumping the ISO to 400, I still couldn't get a good exposure faster than 1/13th of a second which is too slow to capture the people in the scene. I got a little lucky with this particular shot as the two photographers, who were relatively still, juxtaposed nicely with the people walking past them.
I still think that the general idea isn't a bad one (and will certainly provide me with at least one guaranteed PAD per month, but I may need to rethink the execution of it.
