The blooming of Jacaranda trees is a sure sign that spring is on its way, although we've had some rather odd and oscillating weather lately. It's shifted between overcast, rainy and wintry to, as of this lunch time, bright and sunny and warm.

Hence, I describe this as variations on spring, more than an actual spring itself.
