For those who know St Kilda, this is one of its more famous landmarks. The pavilion (a café / restaurant) will be found way down the end of St Kilda Pier, which juts out into Port Philip Bay.
The original pavilion was constructed as far back as 1904, and its fortunes ebbed and flowed over the years. It was destroyed by fire in September 2003, but in 2005 was reconstructed based on the original drawings of the 1904 pavilion.
