c1957 Torca f3.5 45mm fixed lens rangefinder, rebadged from a Royal 35P. Speeds to 1/300.
Cintor = Tominor by Tomioka (later to become Yashikor).

At last, after about ten years of almost daily searching and researching, worldwide. In my hand.
I knew it existed, but I'd never seen a photograph.

Torca. Son of Royal. From a collector in the UK disposing of his collection, one at a time.

The hardest model to find for my Royal family. A rebadged Royal 35P, more or less, made
for the TOR Optical Co. of Japan (binocular manufacturers pre and early post WWII). In superb
condition, mechanically and cosmetically, except some weird brassing (?) on the hindmost topside
piece of the lens barrel. None of my other Royals or clones have this. Odd.

Can't wait to crank some film through this weekend.

Happy camper. (PS. Still looking for a reasonably nice body Royal 35P. Cash or trade.)

On seeing this addition to your Royal set, Colin, feel I must ask. Does your collection have its own house ?
Just curious.
Of course you may live in a mansion.
