nippon54@hotmail.com Hi Tony: The problem is fairly normal, in my experience. There are several reasons, from the simple to the complicated. I completely cleaned my camera by removing lens, top plate, etc. and testing each part. This is not so easy if you haven't done it before, and having the right tools helps ! I take it you have tested all the obvious ... cog, auto double exposure stop etc etc. Maybe you should invest with a pro clean. Good luck. Colin

Hi I have a Royal 35-S no 20046. Unfortuneately I can't fire the shutter, or wind on so something must of gone out of sequence. Have you any ideas. Cheers Tony

great site. i collect them, too. i have yet another variant. it is called the unicorn 35. mine is not in the greatest shape, but it is the only one i've ever seen. if you would like, i can send you some pictures

I have a few Royals, but don't collect their variants so your website is interesting. Your Hanimex, Brumberger and HiyoCa are based on the Royal 35P. This was the later Royal that was made without meter. The 45mm/f1.9 version of the 35M was the base for the Ogikon and Wirgin relabels (Ogikon also rebranded the f2.8 35M version). The HiyoCa, like the Ogikon, was named after its exporter. Ogikon was named after the Hirosuki Ogino company, and guessing the the HiyoCa was named after a 'Hiyo-something Camera' distributor. Hello Tajoddin: Congratulations. I hope that you have great success with your camera. I don't know where you will find the Instructions Book (User Manual) (User Guide) for the camera. Just keep searching on Google and at eBay. Best wishes.
