Last night we came home from a nearby ranch and found this owl in our garage. The birding season is at its peak now in deep South Texas and birds are all around. From Kiskadees in the trees, hawks circling overhead, ducks in the nearby canal and Chachalacas in the alley, they are a daily event. There was another screech owl in the garage about 15 years ago. They enter thru a gate from the pool area as we only have the overhead doors facing the alley. Great time of the year down here.
